Our Tandem program is accompanied by a regular seminar for all participants, organised as an open discussion. Our goal is to trigger an exchange between the students and the refugees. In this seminar, our purpose is not to talk about refugees and their status, but rather to give them a voice and a chance to speak. In these discussions we base our argumentation on postcolonial studies, analyse the media imagery of asylum seekers and learn more about conflicts and problems in the homelands of our international participants.
Sometimes we just watch movies and have a drink together too.
